  1. Dan Borroff Said,

Great video and street theater! Can we get this spread around every campus in the country?

Although I wonder if it would be better if they’d picked some inborn trait, like left-handedness, which you can be trained out of… and people were regularly until the 70′s… but don’t affect society.

This is like street theater in the 60′s and 70′s that built robust movements by moving people’s hearts with humor. Notice the one man who bursts into laughter – great fun!

  4. Richie Said,

Thank you for raising attention to this issue! These HATERS are trying to redefine the core principles which traditional sidewalk-loving citizens of this great country have believed in for years. The very idea of allowing their pumps, their heels, their [gasp] bare feet just one more step on our precious walk would break humanity and bring an end to society as we know and love today. Again, thank you.

  5. Paul Montwillo Said,

San Francisco thanks you Princeton! We have not slept since election day, and we will carry on until we win!

This is not about Gay Marriage any more.

This is about the fact that anyone with $100M being able to re-write Constitutions against basic Civil Rights.

If they can do this to us, they can do it ANYONE!

Watch out Women, abortion is next on their list!

  8. Kirsten Said,

I am glad to see a variety of events that do not involve protesting. I personally believe we need to advertise not protest. Here is why …
Obama won by consistent positive advertising that showed the world that he was an honest, caring, intelligent human being. We need to do the same. We need to run ads that show being gay is normal, natural, and is everywhere (neighbors, coworkers, family members, church members, etc.) We also need to educate the public with facts about what actually happens to us in terms of discrimination (being separated by families and sent to different nursing homes in old age after living together as a couple for 30/40 years, not being able to see our loved ones after a severe accident, being fired or openly discriminated against at work (in some states), being physically harmed and harrassed, etc. Then we need to remind them of what being a good Christian is with words from Jesus. Jesus never condoned hatred, he taught the opposite and the current Christian world seems to have forgotten “His Word”.

  10. John Said,

It’s a slippery slope….next thing you know people will be wanting to walk on the sidewalks with their DOGS!

LOL! Good for you Princeton! And remember, you’re not discriminating against freshman, you’re just protecting the sophomores on up…Hahahaha!

    Truly clever, ;-)

As a Thormanist, it’s wonderful to see what our great leader is up to. Awesome stuff, keep it up!

  15. Scott Pettigrew Said,

This is great. It illustrates the absurdity of discrimination. I think there was something in Leviticus about Freshman walking on sidewalks being an abomination. Or was that shellfish walking on sidewalks??

  17. Marty Said,

This is one of the best responses to the bigotry of the CA Yes on 8 campaign that I’ve seen. It breaks it down into the most simplistic of terms that everyone can see exactly how stupid Proposition 8 really is. Thanks Princeton!

  18. Jay Butler Said,

In the most basic of terms, this couldn’t explain it better, and show the power and scarcity of what MAJORITY can do. The MAJORIY wouldve said NO to letting slaves be free, but that is wrong. Time will show the ignorance, bigotry, and lack of humanity of those that wanted to treat ‘certain’ HUMAN BEINGS differently, simply because they loved. Sad:(

  19. ryan Said,

Great! Awesome! Perfectly explained, though you didn’t need to spell out the Prop 8 comparison. The acting is really good, too. Very naturalistic.
